Is Allegiant Air a good way to travel?

I am planning to fly from LAX to Eugene, Oregon. The prices for this airline are very reasonable, non-stop and it seems almost too good to be true. They also only travel on Mondays and Fridays; which is fine for me. But, if there is a delay; it may be possible to get stuck for a week since they only travel on Mondays and Fridays. This may be a good way to go but, I want your feed-back. Has anyone used this airline? Were you happy with your experience? I do appreciate your feed-back!
