Soccer to lax? Womens lax tips?

Alright, I play soccer and am gonna go out for lax. (Im a girl by the way) Are there any advantages/disadvantages and similarities/differences? Also, try to explain the rules of womens lacrosse. I know a few of them. Just so you know, Im pretty good at soccer and I have never played lacrosse... ever. lol please give me some tips and advice! Thanks ;)
