Why do Cubans refer to themselves as 'chicos', Mexicans 'ese', and Ricans 'Boriqua'?

Why.. and are they the only ones who do this? I have never heard of a Dominican or a Colombian doing this.. In fact, Dominicans are most likely to say "n***a"..... And what do things like.. 'papito' 'mira ( I think that's how you spell it, but it's pronounced like "meeda" ).. 'hyna' and 'chulo/chula' mean? Pinche puto cabron?... Hola mami?...'Wepa' ???
