If someone tells you that your are very attractive but there attraction to you is physical they dont like you?

I am seeing a guy for a couple of months now and he told me that i am very attractive but his attraction to me is physical does that mean he doesnt like me is it just about sex? i told him so you dont like me as a person you just like me for the sex? he said ... No Mami, i like the way you are, you are cool but im attracted to you physically and yes i love the way u ****! So im confused does he like me? he said right now he just wants friends and that he is not seeing anyone else but me, you see his last relationship really broke his heart.. i need answers help.......
