Why dog get so spoilt?

well my 2 jack russell terrier they think that they are human sometime i talk to them seen like they understand me...Could that be a possibility,they sleep with me and always around me and if I go outside to take somenthing out the mami stard bark,to try to get my attention is that normal or maybe I spoiled then to much,
